About Jen

My life has been one full, mysterious journey of abundant learning and transformation. Over the years, I have accumulated many eclectic and broad-based skills and knowledge of a cerebral, practical, energetic, and intuitive nature.

My medicine canvas comprises an 8-year foundation of medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand (MBBCh; Bsc (Med) 1985), numerous years of self-work and practitioner’s training in holistic healing therapies such as Journey Therapy (Brandon Bays), Shadow Work (Debbie Ford), Master Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Zero Pain Now (Adam Heller), and further study into several alternative therapies including homeopathy, functional medicine, metaphysics, developing intuition, colour therapy, energy medicine, shamanic practices, crystal healing, and medicinal plants.

My most recent passion and training has been in Movement Medicine—which has become the umbrella under which I have found I can elegantly weave all my learning and experience together. Mix in a medley of public speaking on health, wellness, and self-mastery, together with sacred ceremony facilitation for special occasions such as weddings and birthdays, and you have a comprehensive picture of my current medicine tapestry.

Blending all the above-mentioned practices and skills, I offer monthly Movement Medicine classes. Integrating Movement Medicine into my medical practice, I offer private sessions with clients, both online and one-to-one in my home.

My ultimate intention and specialty, is to combine all my learnings—merging scientific, modern-day medicine with the ancient wisdom traditions—to contribute to the creation of a vibrant new paradigm of health and wellness, raising consciousness on multiple levels, and weaving the interconnectedness of all.  My medical practice specialises in metabolic and integrative approaches to cancer and other chronic diseases.
