Born in England September 1946 of Scottish roots. Grew up in Manchester area, studied Social Science at Birmingham University (B.Soc.Sc. Hons) and Education at York University (P.G.C.E). Worked at Kidbrooke Comprehensive School, S.E. London. Travelled in Africa 1971-72. 1974 began study of oriental philosophy (yin & yang) + healing arts at East-West Centre, E.C.London. 1985 moved to Switzerland as co-founder and teacher at a seminar centre in Swiss Alps. Co-author of "Yin-Yang Cookbook". Now independent teacher and workshop organiser. Qualified Practitioner of Shiatsu and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. Married to Mario Ribolini; they have one daughter Francesca born in June 1990. Loves nature and a simple life, and pioneering interesting projects together with other people.
