About Ruth

Ruth is a professional artist, facilitator and consultant specialising in Community Engagement and Participation. She has used the the transformational power of the arts to work creatively with thousands of people in the arts, public, private, education and voluntary sectors over the last 20 years. As the Creative Director of UK based Participatory Arts initiative, Encounters, she creates projects and processes that inspire creativity, dialogue and exchange between people of all ages and cultures enabling people through different creative processes to create new sustainable and inter- connected stories to live by on individual, local, city –wide and global levels. As a Movement Medicine Facilitator Ruth integrates MM into all of her work.
